The 6th house is one of the malefic as well as upachaya house. It has 2 sides- one is negative and 2nd is growth & success after a lot of struggles, delays or problems.
The 6th house deals with the debts, government jobs, services, NGOs, banking & financial services, health problems, sadness, grief, sorrows, delays, growth after a lot of efforts, hidden enemies, hidden secrets, obstacles, hurdles, stomach & kidney problems, doctors, nurse, handicapped people, labor class people, low salary people if affiliated & Lagna lord is also weak/affiliated, loans, divorce, enemies, etc.
I would like to explain it in 2 ways. The first one is- yes, it’s good to have an inactive/empty/no planet in the 6th house because it shows fewer hurdles, health problems, troubles, smooth & better growth, fewer chances of bad debts, etc.
The second one is- it’s also a Upachaya house meaning grows with time & growth after struggles. So, it’s good to have malefic planets like the sun, Saturn, Mars, or Rahu in the 6th house because malefic planets do well in the malefic & upachaya house. Malefic planets bring courage & a fighting spirit to get rid of problems, hurdles & struggles in life. Though, people can expect delays or a bit late growth.
The 6th house lord in the 6th house also acts as a savior. So, it’s fine to have the 6th house lord in the 6th house. Best is to have an inactive or less active 6th house which means better & smooth life :).
Having more planets in the 6th house means an active 6th house in the birth chart. If there is no planet in the 6th house then check the lord placement of your 6th house. It will help you to predict the things related to the 6th house. Rest, whole chart reading can change the entire picture because we also need to see aspects, conjunction, and nakshatra in a birth chart.
Hope, it helps !!
